  • MIDAS on Pembina. Gord speaking. How can I help you?
  • Hi! I'd like to bring my car in for a check-up.
  • What's wrong with it?
  • Well... it started about a week ago. It makes a funny squeaking noise on the passenger side when I speed up.
  • OK, we would have to take a look at it. It could be for a number of reasons. What kind of car is it?
  • It's 2004 Ford Focus.
  • Ok, why don't you bring it in tomorrow? We open at 7:30. You can drop it off here on your way to work and we'll take a look at it. How does that sound?
  • It sounds great!
  • Let me write down your name here. What is it?
  • It's Sara.
  • All right, Sara! See you tomorrow then.
  • Thanks! See you!

  • Fountain Tire on York. Tony speaking. What can I do for you?
  • Hi! I'd like to get brake pads replaced on my Corolla. What will it cost me?
  • What year is it?
  • 2005.
  • Ok... if it's just the front wheel pads, then the parts alone will be about 70 bucks plus labour... total around 130. But if you need rotors replaced it will be more.
  • Ok. When can I bring it in?
  • Let's see... Tomorrow's all booked. Will Thursday work for you?
  • Yep. Thursday will work. How long does it usually take?
  • Usually about an hour - hour and a half. It's best if you can just drop it off in the morning and we'll call you when it's done.
  • Works for me!
  • What's your name?
  • Brian.
  • Ok. We'll see you on Thursday then.
  • Thanks! Bye!
